1. USER INFORMATION

Who is the controller of your personal data?
ASOCIATIA SOCIETATEA ROMANA PENTRU STUDIUL SI TRATAMENTUL LIMFEDEMULUI (SRSTL) is the CONTROLLER of the USER’s personal data and informs the USER that this data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD).

Why do we process your personal data?
To maintain a commercial relationship with the USER. The planned data processing activities include:

  • Sending commercial advertising communications by email, SMS, social networks, or other electronic and physical means that facilitate commercial communication.
  • These communications will be related to the CONTROLLER’s products and services, or those of its partners or suppliers with whom promotion agreements exist. Third parties will never have access to personal data.
  • Conducting market research and statistical analysis.
  • Processing orders, requests, and responding to queries or any type of request made by the USER through any available contact methods on the CONTROLLER’s website.
  • Sending newsletters on news, offers, and promotions related to the CONTROLLER’s activities.

Why can we process your personal data?
Processing is legitimized by Article 6 of the GDPR as follows:

  • With the USER’s consent: for sending commercial communications and newsletters.
  • In the legitimate interest of the CONTROLLER: for conducting market research, statistical analysis, and processing orders and requests as requested by the USER.

For how long will we keep your personal data?
Data will be stored no longer than necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing or for the period required by legal obligations. When the purpose is no longer necessary, data will be erased with appropriate security measures to ensure anonymization or complete destruction.

To whom do we disclose your personal data?
No disclosure of personal data to third parties is anticipated, except when necessary for the execution of processing purposes, and only to service providers related to communications. In such cases, the CONTROLLER has signed confidentiality and data processing agreements with these providers in compliance with current privacy regulations.

What are your rights?
The rights of the USER include:

  • Right to withdraw consent at any time.
  • Right of access, rectification, portability, and erasure of data, as well as the limitation or objection to their processing.
  • Right to file a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (www.dataprotection.ro) if you believe that the processing does not comply with current legislation.

2. COMPULSORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER

By marking the appropriate boxes and entering data in fields marked with an asterisk (*) in contact or download forms, USERS explicitly agree that their data is necessary for the CONTROLLER to process their request. USERS ensure that the personal data provided to the CONTROLLER is true and are responsible for communicating any changes.

The CONTROLLER informs USERS that all data requested on the website is mandatory to provide optimal service. Incomplete data provision may result in inadequate adaptation of information and services to USER needs.

3. SECURITY MEASURES

In compliance with current personal data protection regulations, the CONTROLLER adheres to all GDPR and LOPDGDD provisions for processing personal data. This compliance includes the principles outlined in Article 5 of the GDPR, which mandates lawful, fair, and transparent data processing limited to necessary purposes.

The CONTROLLER guarantees that appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect USER rights and freedoms, enabling them to exercise these rights effectively.
